I am starting to think about my Patio for the Summer season. Last year I switch it up a little and incorporated a lot of blue and while and I loved how it looked. I am going to expand on that again this year. Hopefully add more blue and white planters with boxwoods, some blue hydrangea, and a few more blue and white urns. I also want to add a blue and white tablescape. I found some great ideas on Pinterest. I love the way the table looks with the ginger jars and white table cloth and the polished chrome lantern in between. I also love the idea of adding succulents to a large blue and white bowl. There are so many good ideas below!! Happy Decorating. PS Today was a good day…I stopped in Home Goods and they had a ton of blue and white containers. HG Round Up coming soon!!!!
This week’s book, The Song Book of Benny Lament by Amy Harmon, came highly recommended. I heard it just gets better and better as you read.
From the bestselling author of What the Wind Knows and From Sand and Ash comes a powerful love story about a musical duo who put everything on the line to be together.
New York, 1960: For Benny Lament, music is his entire life. With his father’s deep ties to the mob, the Bronx piano man has learned that love and family can get you in trouble. So he keeps to himself, writing songs for other musicians, avoiding the spotlight…until the night his father brings him to see Esther Mine sing.
Esther is a petite powerhouse with a gorgeous voice. And when Benny writes a hit song and performs it with her, their collaboration thrusts the duo onto the national stage…and stirs up old issues and new scrutiny that the mob—and Benny—would rather avoid.
It would be easier to walk away. But the music and the woman are too hard for the piano man to resist. Benny’s songs and Esther’s vocals are an explosive combination, a sound that fans can’t get enough of. But though America might love the music they make together, some people aren’t ready for Benny Lament and Esther Mine on—or off—the stage. – Amazon.com

The items you use are only as excellent as your skincare routine. While high-quality products can improve the appearance of your skin now and in the future, low-quality goods can be useless and even harmful.
The use of quality skincare products aid in the maintenance of healthy skin. All day, your skin sheds dead cells, so it’s vital to maintain glossy and healthy skin. An ideal skincare regime may help you avoid acne, treat wrinkles, and keep your skin looking great.
Your skin will appear more youthful: As you become older, your skin’s cells turn over at a slower rate, making it appear dull and lifeless. Using a high-quality skincare line like Biologique recherche can aid in the removal of dead skin cells, allowing your body to replace them with younger, healthier cells.
It’s easier — and less expensive — to prevent skin problems than it is to try to treat them later.
Your self-confidence will improve: As your skin improves, you will feel better about yourself and have greater self-confidence.
A good, effective skincare routine can include the following elements:
Cleansing: Gently wash your skin with a face-specific cleanser. If you have dry skin, search for an alcohol-free cleanser, and if you have oily skin, search for an oil-free cleanser. Rinse with warm water thereafter.
Toning: After washing your face, use a toner to help smooth and relax your skin while also restoring nutrients.
Even if you have oily skin, moisturizers should be used every time you wash your face. Choose an oil-free or gel product if you have this sort of skin.
Sunscreen: Even if your moisturizer contains sunscreen, it’s still a good idea to use a separate sunscreen every day, even if the weather is gloomy. Choose a sunscreen with at least an SPF of 30 and broad-spectrum protection.
Exfoliating: Exfoliators are optional and should be used after cleansing but before applying moisturizer. They should only be used once or twice a week at most.
Serum: A serum can help with specific problems like redness.
Some advantages of using high-quality skincare products such as Biologique Recherche include:
Ingredients of high quality: Quality skin-care components can improve your skin in the same way that nutritious eating improves your body.
Environmental protection: pollution, for example.
Assist in the fight against the signs of aging, such as wrinkles and sunspots.
Exceeding expectations: Refined skincare products contain fewer bacteria and pollutants.
The following undesirable consequences are more likely to occur when using low-quality skincare products:

Happy Mother’s Day Weekend to all my fashionistas!!! I think mom deserves the best table-setting of all. I started thinking early on of what I would do for a special mother’s day table. Of course, I went to Pinterest for some inspiration. And, here is what I found. I love all the arrangements on the tables below, especially the one where all they used all succulents for the centerpiece. So clever…I do love the look of tulips, all the colored glass and the gold flatware. I also love all the the chargers from the bamboo, to the gold to the floral. There are so many good ideas in this post. I cannot wait to see what you all come up with…Send me all of your photos. Oh and Bon Weekend!!!!!!
This easy skillet Apple Pie is the perfect treat to make for mom on Mother’s Day. Cooking the pie in a skillet gives the crust the most perfect gooey caramel taste from the brown sugar simmering in the bottom of the skillet. The combination of apples makes the filling both crisp and sweet. The butter pecan ice cream gives it an extra kick but traditional apple pie lovers might decide to stick with Vanilla ice cream. Either way, mom is going to flip over this delicious pie.
