Weekend Real Estate Stalking

Ok..so I know where I want to go for my next vacation….”The Doll House” on Harbour Island in the Bahamas.  This absolutely incredible 200 year old landmark house is one of the most photographed homes in the Bahamas.  It has been painstakingly restored and decorated in a colorful Island motif by a dear friend of mine from my Tiffany days.  This charming cottage is located directly on the stunning bay of Harbor Island.  Lucky for us it is available for vacation rental.  Woo Hoo.  For more information please contact Dunmore Realty.

Fashionable Friend Friday

I am so excited about this week’s Fashionable Friend Friday choice!  It is the incredible Joan Juliet Buck, former Editor of French Vogue, ooh la la!!!  I was lucky enough to be able to interview Joan, today,  for my show. You can listen to the replay HERE.  From the time that I spent speaking with her, I learned that Joan is such an accomplished woman.  She is a writer, storyteller, sometimes actress and so much more.  We discussed her memoir, her time with Vogue Paris, as Editor in Chief, and things she loves (and hates!!) in fashion.  I have to say it has been one of my most favorite interviews.  Joan is a fashion treasure and I am so fortunate to be able to introduce her to you!!!  You MUST read her incredible memoir, The Price of Illusion…for more information or to purchase click HERE.

Face In A Case

I recently saw a woman carrying around a small chic clutch that actually is a makeup palette.  I was so impressed.  The Face In A Case is a magnetic makeup organizer which doubles as a stylish clutch. On one side are the vegan, cruelty free, paraban free cosmetics and the other side holds your credit cards and money.  Your phone even fits too.  It is the perfect accessory for all of us busy women on the go.  I have mine in my purse and take it with me everywhere!!!! I love having all my  makeup so neatly organized.  First you choose your case (I have leopard, of course) and then you choose your makeup palette, Plum or Nude.  For reference, they are very similar to the popular “Naked” palettes.  The founder of this amazing product is Gail Sagel, an ex wall-streeter turned makeup guru devoted to creating “innovative products that make women’s lives better”.  Gail was so generous to give NS Lifestyles readers a discount on their own Face In A Case with the code Nicole10.  I think its time to Make Up!!!!!!!!!

We want to thank Gail and Faces Beautiful for giving us a complimentary Face in a Case in exchange for this review.  As always, the thoughts and opinions above are completely my own.

Tea Time

One of the best outings I have had recently was tea at Laduree in New York.  The tea rooms at Laduree mimic those found in Paris.  The menu is amazing.  You can get a delicious pot of tea, there are so many flavors to choose from (see below) and a plate of their pastries.  The Madison location has only a few tables (thats where we went) and is very intimate but the soho location is much bigger and can accomodate larger groups.  I cannot wait to try tea there next.  Also the menu is quite extensive so you can choose your tea time as elaborate, with tea sandwiches and croissants, or as simple, tea and one or two macarons, as you want.  Trust me YOU HAVE TO GO!!!!  You will LOVE it!!!!

Here is the AMAZING Tea Menu

The Cookie Dough Craze

OK. so the new craze seems to be eating uncooked cookie dough in various flavors.  This is so much so that an entire store in NYC opened called Cookie Dô.  There is a line to get in that can take up to 3+ hours.  Trust me, I know…I went!!!!   I did a little research and found an amazing company that mail orders cookie dough and it is incredible.  No waiting in line and it is delivered to you door within a couple of days.  It is called Edoughble and you will LOVE it.  I ordered a bunch for my kids and their friends and was a HUGE hit.  I contacted Edoughble to do this post and they sent me another large box filled with cookie dough flavors for us to try.  Needless to say my family was ecstatic.  You have to try this company.  I even have a discount code for you!!!  Here is the link to get 25% off your order http://edoughble.refr.cc/nicolesteinthal.

Thank you to the edoughble company for sending me cookie dough sample for this post!!  As always,  all opinions and thoughts expressed above are my own.
