Today’s Book Club Monday choice is Lucky Boy by Shanthi Sekaran. This book has been getting rave reviews that it is so powerful and its message stays with you long after you finish reading. The story goes like this:
Here is another great Rye home…this time in the awesome Waterfront area of Greenhaven!…I love this colonial. Its so bright and airy with great space for entertaining. The decor is amazing as well!! For more information or to see this property, contact Connie Stetler, HERE.

Today’s Fashionable Friend Friday is Nancy Cook of Eleanor Stone NYC. Nancy is a Greenwich mom who makes these incredible luxe Italian leather cuffs with gorgeous vintage jewelry elements. They are one of a kind, and handmade, each with a history all of its own. From a Chanel button to a 1950’s purple stone broach to Atzec turquoise, there are so many fabulous choices. I had such a hard time choosing. These bracelets make an incredible statement and lucky us, Nancy is offering 20% off your own cuff with the code HAPPYSPRING. It’s that time of year again and one of the most frequent questions I received from readers this week was “How do I hard boil eggs so they don’t crack and are easy to peel?” This is a hard one…Mine crack ALL THE TIME!!!! So, I referred to the uber homemaker Martha Stewart and here is what I found!!!
12 Large Eggs (room temperature)
Place eggs in a SINGLE LAYER in a large saucepan (I used my Le Creuset). Cover them with cool water by 1 inch. Slowly bring water to a boil over medium heat; when the water has reached a boil, cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes.
Transfer eggs to a colander; place under cool running water to stop the cooking.
I wore this dress in black (no longer available) almost everyday on my trip, but I love this color too!!!
Do you do this at home? We do!!!!!
