Freeze914

Yesterday I went to Freeze914 Cryotherapy in Rye Brook, for a whole body freeze and freeze facial.  I have to admit it was not the easiest thing I have ever done and it was REALLY COLD!!  But, the 3 minutes went by really fast (I was shocked) and afterwards I felt so relaxed like I just had the best massage EVER!!!!  I also had the 10 minute Cryo facial and I absolutely LOVED it.  It felt great and the results were amazing, immediately afterwards.  My skin was glowing and looked incredible.  Here are some frequently asked questions about Cyrotherapy and for even more info or to make an appointment, visit http://freeze914.com.  Hurry for the introductory “first time” pricing!!!!

What is Cyrotherapy?

“Cryotherapy is a special type of whole body or localized exposure cold therapy, where your body is immersed in sub-zero temperatures to turbo–charge its ability to heal… in just 3 minutes. Your body is absolutely magical, it’s capable of healing itself from so many of the ailments that plague you. All it needs is the right environment. Reaching temperatures as low as -120 Celsius (-184ºF), makes cryotherapy an effective alternative to traditional ice baths for individuals seeking improved health and faster recovery.”

What are the benefits?

“Some of the many benefits of cryotherapy include decreasing muscle soreness, decreasing pain, reducing swelling and inflammation, increasing range of motion, improving sleep, boosting energy, accelerating metabolism, strengthening immune system, increasing endorphins, mitigating anxiety and depression, reducing signs of aging, improving skin, and relieving joint disorders, rheumatoid diseases and fibromyalgia.”

How does it work?

1. Step Inside

  • You’ll enter the cryo spa and your experience is supervised by a cryotechnician.
  • The cryo spa will fill with dry Nitrogen mist which drops the temperature to -180F to -220F degrees and the skin’s surface to 32 degrees.
  • Sessions last up to 3 minutes and the spa’s door is always unlocked so you can easily exit anytime.

Another Color for Spring

This is the last of my spring color postings (I promise)
but I really wanted to give you a bunch of colors
so you can add a little punch to your wardrobe.  I
just bought a dress in this Lapis Blue color for an
upcoming event and family wedding.  It is so
outside of my comfort zone but I decided to throw
caution to the wind!   I really do love this blue and
how crisp it looks with black and even white.

Another Color for Spring

Even More Spring Colors

Another color for spring is Primrose Yellow.  I love this
color but never really take the plunge.  I am thinking
perhaps a pair of shoes to wear with white jeans or
even a statement necklace to wear with a white
blouse or dress.  What do you think?

Weekend Real Estate Stalking

As I previously wrote, we met up with so many people during our vacation to Florida.  We were so lucky to be able to spend the day at the beach and dinner with my husband’s aunt and cousin.  Tom’s aunt’s house was so full of heirlooms that were once his grandparents.  It was so awesome to see a little bit of our family’s history.   I loved the decor of this charming Florida beach house.  It was so beautifully eclectic and every gorgeous item painstaking collected throughout the years.  Bon Weekend!!!

Don’t you love the Tiffany Blue front door?

The outside courtyard was so lovely!!

The Faena Miami Beach

As I am writing this to you, I am leaving Florida.  I am so sad to leave the Sunshine State.  We had so much fun during this trip.  We met up with family and friends.  Visited a ton of places but the highlight of the trip had to be our stay at the Faena in Miami.  It is the most amazing hotel.  The Faena first opened it’s doors last year during Art Basel and has been getting rave reviews ever since.  The hotel has been voted the best in Miami and Virtuoso travel’s best of the best hotel, design and service wise in the WORLD!!!  Of course we had to check it out…OMG!!!!!!!!!!!  Did it live up the the hype. The decor was out of this world.  We especially loved the poolside butlers that cool you off with water “sprinkles” and deliver infused beverages.  I have to say the experience was quite amazing.  They did have an after dinner show, that we did not get to see, but I am dying to go back soon!!!!

Thursday in Miami

Today I spent my last day in Florida in Miami attending the Fashion For Breakfast fashion show and lecture by the amazing vintage store What Goes Around Comes Around at the incredible Soho Beach House.  It was such a spectacular day.  The vintage fashions were so beautiful and the setting and attendees so chic.  What Comes Around has so many incredible vintage finds.  The best piece of advice we were given today by the owners, Seth and Gerard is to invest in designer accessories.  They hold their value and are amazing investments.  Clothes not so much and shoes not at all.  Hmmmmm very interesting!!!!!  Check out the What Goes Around Comes Around website HERE.  Here are some photos from an incredible day!!!
