There are so many good choices for NYC Restaurant Week and I really use this time to try new places…I am not interested in repeating a restaurant during this week, I must try something new. Because after all that is what it’s for, right? Well you could imagine how excited I was when I received an email from the MET that for the FIRST TIME ever, they are allowing non members in their Members Dining Room for this year’s NYC Restaurant Week. I grabbed my friend Courtney and off we went for this special experience. The Member’s Dining Room has hosted so many influential people over the years, that it is so rich in history and tradition. I wish the walls could talk. I absolutely loved this dining experience. The room was so pretty and the view was incredible. We both enjoyed our meals. The food was so good. Restaurant week ends on 2/10. There is still time left, so grab a friend and head to the MET. As for me, I have one more reservation this week. I have been waiting for this one for months….stay tuned!!!!!!!

Last night I went to the opening party for the New Saks Collective Store in Greenwich, CT. The Collective space is devoted to modern mid-priced designer fashions. You will find a mix of top denim, athleasure and such designers as Theory, Vince, Alice and Olivia, Diane Von Furstenburg, Eddie Parker, A.LC., Opening Ceremony, Nicholas and so many more. One of my favorite areas of the store was the Tom Ford makeup corner. They are going to carry the entire line. I cannot wait to go back for a makeover and dig into all those colors (stay tuned). Today is the official opening for the public and there will be many events throughout the weekend. I am sharing with you a sneak peek of the gorgeous store but you have to see it for yourself.
