A Weekend At The Colony

I had heard so many good things about the Colony Hotel and its gorgeous renovation by Kemble Interiors. It had been on my list for ages. When I was visiting my parents I was able to sneak away to the Colony. And, all of my expectations were met for sure. It was as fabulous as I had thought. Every little detail is BEYOND! The restaurant Swifty’s (remember the NYC fav) is so great and the menu is very old school. They had Bingo night and Trivia night and both were so much fun. I have not played Bingo in I do not know how many years. The pool scene was really cool too. I met the sweetest lady who asked us to have drinks with her. She was lounging poolside in a fantastic cover-up and pink Chanel cardigan. It’s such great PB people watching! If you can pull it off this winter, The Colony is the perfect place for a weekend getaway.
