And, if I was there during Fashion Week you would find me at the restaurant KONG. It is so chic and fabulous, certainly a must visit for all fashionistas. When and if I do get there, I might never leave!

Who does not love a pair of Jack Rogers sandals? This year, the company is celebrating its 55th anniversary. For 55 years women have been fans of this iconic sandal. One of the company’s loyalist clients was none other that Jackie O herself. She purchased her first pair in Capri in the 1960s. She returned with the shoe to Palm Beach and had a local cobbler copy the design.. Viola Jack Rogers was born!! I LOVE Jack Rogers. I began wearing them a life time ago, when they were only available in Palm Beach. My family traveled to Florida throughout the year and we spent Thanksgiving at the Breakers. After the HUGE Thanksgiving feast we would walk around the gorgeous Breakers and the only store that was opened was an expensive Italian shoe store. Low and behold, there in that shop were the coveted Jack Rogers sandals. My grandfather insisted that we buy a pair to take home. So that became our tradition, we would enjoy our Thanksgiving dinner at the Breakers and go sandal shopping afterwards!!! This went on for quite a few years and WE LOVED IT!!! I am obsessed with the beauty aisle at Whole Foods. They have so many great products. Everytime I am there I spend so much time browsing and testing the products. Here are some that I thought were especially interesting. The entire Acure line is FABULOUS. Next on my list is the sunscreen, the lavender shampoo and the “skin food”.
A very stylist friend recommended this book to me. It is Advanced Style by Ari Seth Cohen.
