Today’s Fashionable Friend Friday is Lucy Sykes. I met Lucy and her husband Euan Rellie at a party recently. They were the most friendly, dynamic couple. They were just so gracious. Lucy is the co- author of this summer’s must read book, The Knock Off, an amusing story about fashion in the digital age. If you already don’t know, Lucy, she and her twin sister moved to NYC from London in 1997. She took the fashion world by storm, she is a stylist, fashion editor and fashion director. Her past accomplishments were fashion director at Marie Claire, and Rent The Runway. Run don’t walk to get your copy of The Knock Off, you are going to LOVE it. The book can be purchased HERE.

My last product was literally right under my nose for 3 years. Regiliously, I visit my Aesthetician, Julie of Skin NY Westchester. She is a miracle worker and has changed my life (but that is for another post!). I literally WILL NOT miss an appointment with her, so much so, that one day I was deathly ill and had her put on a face mask so she would not catch my germs. I had to make it through my session!!! About a month ago, she gave me a muti purpose skin cream called “Julie in a Jar”. You can use in on your face and on your body. It is wonderful. Very soothing and healing. We are wrapping up a long 4th of July weekend. Independence Day is one of my favorite holidays, everyone is so patriotic and festive. There are always a bunch of fun parties and fireworks galore.
