I first met Elizabeth a year ago and saw all of her incredible designs. Elizabeth creates the most beautiful fancy monogrammed ponchos and wraps. Her prices are sooo beyond reasonable and her designs are of the highest quality. My first piece was a really cool heather grey poncho with a raspberry initial on initial 2 letter monogram. Since then I have purchased a light grey ruffle wrap with a turquoise monogram and a really really cool camo wrap. I have also purchased a bunch of gifts for friends and they have loved loved their ponchos and wraps and sent me photos of them wearing them all around the world!!!! Elizabeth’s items are so in demand that it took me forever to convince her to agree to a post. She is sooooo busy fulfilling orders. I have admired photographer, Gray Malin’s work for a while now. I have a cousin, who lives in LA, who is good friends with Gray. She had been after me for a few years to reach out to him and write a post. I always felt like he was so popular, why would he talk to me?! From following Gray’s Instagram, I saw that he was going to be in Westport, Ct tonight at the fabulous Serena and Lily. I messaged him, introduced myself and mentioned our six degrees of separation. He messaged me right back to come by between 5-7. Well, I have to say Gray Malin was as dreamy as his photographs!!!! He was so handsome and personable. We made a “plan” to meet up, with my cousin, maybe at Lisa Vanderpump’s Pump, which is right across from his office, if and when I get to LA anytime soon!!!!!!!! Tonight was celebrating Gray’s incredible new book, Italy. His photographs of the Italian coast were always hands down my favorite (and of course his Miami beach photos) so I was dying to get my hands on the book..It does not disappoint. It also makes a great gift. If you are not familiar with Gray Malin’s work, here are some of my favorite pieces….

This past Spring Break we spent a few nights at the Cove in the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas. We worked with the amazing public relations department at the hotel and our entire trip was upgraded. They had a driver pick us up at the airport, gave us VIP treatment and checked on us constantly during our days there. I was so impressed with the service and the amenities at the Cove. My sister flew in to meet me from Florida. We really had a great time. We ate a Nobu a couple of nights (our fav back home) and tried out some of the Atlantis’s award wining other restaurants as well. On our last night we went to Jean George’s Dune in the neighboring Ocean Club, which was so incredible. The entire dining room turned into a disco at one point. During the day we mostly sat by the pool or beach. This time of year the weather was amazing. The Atlantis has a gorgeous Spa. If you booked prior to arriving they gave you 20% off any service and upon finishing your treatment they gave you a 25% off voucher for another appointment during your stay. I have been to many spas and never received a deal that good!!!! One day my sister, my daughter and I went into downtown Nassau to do some shopping. We hit the straw market for souvenirs and some of the higher end shops, where everything was much less than the New York prices, and I do mean MUCH LESS!!!! Also the shops at the Atlantis were really great too (with the same great pricing). And they were opened late, so we would walk around after dinner. The Casino was also fun. My sister loves the Casino. On the last night I joined her and even though we both lost, it still was a highlight of our trip!! Here are some of the photos from our days in Paradise. Boy do I dread packing…I dread weighing my bags as well…honestly the only thing worse than weighing yourself is having your stuffed bags weighted at the airport. I am always praying we do not hit 50 lbs. This past summer I had and epiphany….I was watching Instagram stories and as all these influencers were going on summer holidays, out came their packing cubes. I messaged one of my favorite bloggers Being Bridget and she told me to roll my clothes and place them in packing cubes..I immediately went on Amazon and purchased these. Now everyone in my family uses them and you cannot imagine how streamlined our packing has become. Oh and don’t worry about wrinkles…I never seem to get them…but if I do happen to have a piece that needs some extra TLC A few sprays of this does the trick!!!!
- Layout and sort the clothes that you would like to bring. I like to keep pants and tops in one, dresses in another and pajamas and underwear in another.
- Roll each piece. Place horizontally in the cube. Slightly push each piece of rolled clothing to the side (this will allow for you to fit more rolled pieces in each cube).
- Zip up cube and move onto the next.
