Wish List Wednesday

I recently stumbled upon a shoe company called Oka B.   The shoes come in a variety of colors and styles.  The embellished jeweled ones are my favorite.  How cute are the pink flats with turquoise stones?  The best price about these shoes is that they are all under $100 and most under $50!!!!  You can buy them on Amazon or by clicking HERE

Bon Voyage

I must admit I have total luggage envy.  Take this March, I was in Miami next to the chicest girl.  There she stood in her rainbow Valentino gladiator sandals, white jeans, pastel cashmere cardigan next to the most beautiful suit case.  I on the other hand was reaching for my black honeymoon Samsonite, which I had just noticed had sprouted a hole, making its already thread bare appearance even worse.  I decide then and there I was going to upgrade my travel “look”.  I found some great options below.  I am of course leaning toward the leopard but I think the British Flag design might to the trick too!!!

Bon Voyage

Something Rotten

Friday night I was lucky enough to see Something Rotten with one of the co-producers.  It was absolutely wonderful.  Both my husband and I enjoyed the play so much.  The story goes like this “Welcome to the 90’s – the 1590’s!  Brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but a stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rockstar known as “The Bard” (aka William Shakespeare).  When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first MUSICAL”.  The Lead Producer of this show is Kevin McCollum, of the smash hit Rent, so how can it not be amazing!!! We were able to go back stage and meet the actors, writer and Mr. McCollum.  The energy and excitement of the show is contagious.  RUN do not WALK to see this play!!  You will not be disappointed!!!
