Fall Wish List

I keep getting asked the question, “what is on your fall wish list?”.   I have spent some time thinking about what I need and how to edit my wardrobe, so I can add some new things to my outfit rotation.  I definitely want a navy dress.  The two below are so chic.  I love the cashmere cocoon sweaters from Calypso as well the some fashionable furs sweaters and vests from Linda Richards.  I am loving that the color wine is in this season, so a blouse would be nice.  And, there is always room in my closet to add some statement jewelry and of course a little leopard.  What’s on your wish list for Fall?  I would love to hear from you, please leave a comment below!!  I will post your suggestions next week!!!!  Cannot wait to hear what you come up with!!

Last week personal shopper and award winning stylist, Kendra Porter invited me to Lord and Taylor in Stamford to preview some fabulous fall fashions.  Kendra has an impressive resume which includes working with Stacy London of What Not to Wear as well as sending models down runways from Oscar de la Renta to Rachel Zoe.  As manager of the Personal Shopping office, Kendra works with clients, women and men of all ages, to help them find their best looks.  She is a “body expert and style architect who inspires all”.  I loved walking the floor with Kendra, as she pointed out which pieces she loves for the season. Fashionable Friend Friday

Sometimes incredible talent is literally right under your nose!!  As is the case with this week’s Fashionable Friend Friday!!  My friend Augustina’s Instagram posts are incredible.  Not only is she an amazing cook but her presentation is out of this world.  I am so impressed with the care she takes to provide her family with Michelin Star-worthy meals.  Whether it be breakfast in bed or dinner al fresco on the Patio, Augustina’s is the place to be.  And, if you think the food is amazing you should get to know the company….THE BEST!!!!   Bon Weekend!!

Greenwich Wine and Food Festival

Last weekend I was invited to the Greenwich Wine and Food Festival with my friend Monique, Account Director of Serendipity Magazine.  Ever since its launch, I have loved Serendipity, a Westchester and Fairfield county lifestyle magazine.  It was amazing to be able to be their guest at the Wine and Food Festival.  The event took place in the Greenwich Harbor and local restaurants and caterers provided samples of their delicious menus.  It was so nice to be introduced to some new local eateries as well as visit some of our old standbys!
