Best Slow Cooker Roast EVER!

Many readers have written in asking for some crock pot recipes.  Now that the kids are back in school the question “What is for Dinner?” becomes more frustrating.  Here is an easy quick fix that I know will be well received by your own little foodies.

Best Slow Cooker Roast EVER
adapted from Jenn Barre, mom, chef and the crock pot girl

Ingredients:

2-5 lb Pot Roast
.75 oz ranch dressing dry envelope
.75 oz Italian dressing dry envelope
.75 oz gravy mix, brown, envelope
1 to 1 1/2 cup water
1/2 lb potatoes
1/2 lb. carrots

Cut potatoes and carrots and put on the bottom of the crock pot
Place roast on top of vegetables
Sprinkle contents of all 3 envelopes on top of the roast
add water, cover the vegetables (adjust for size of roast)
cover, cook on low for 6-10 hours

Happy Crocking!

Fall Wish List

I keep getting asked the question, “what is on your fall wish list?”.   I have spent some time thinking about what I need and how to edit my wardrobe, so I can add some new things to my outfit rotation.  I definitely want a navy dress.  The two below are so chic.  I love the cashmere cocoon sweaters from Calypso as well the some fashionable furs sweaters and vests from Linda Richards.  I am loving that the color wine is in this season, so a blouse would be nice.  And, there is always room in my closet to add some statement jewelry and of course a little leopard.  What’s on your wish list for Fall?  I would love to hear from you, please leave a comment below!!  I will post your suggestions next week!!!!  Cannot wait to hear what you come up with!!
