Ever since I did my self tour of Arthur Ave, I have been on an Italian cooking kick. I really wanted to perfect making tomato sauce. I think I finally found the secret and I will share it with you. Below you will find the easiest most delicious tomato sauce recipe. Bone Appetit!!!!
2 cans crushed tomatoes
1 large onion
1/2 stick butter
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon sugar (to cut the acidity of the tomatoes)
Combine ingredients in your crock pot and cook on low for 4 hours
Remove onion and serve over your favorite pasta…garnish with basil leaf.
Freeze whatever you have left over for next time!!!!

I absolutely LOVE Valentine’s Day. I would get so excited making my valentines growing up and when my kids were in grade school, we would get soooo into it. Cards, candy, little token gifts, we would send it all to their classmates. I really miss it. Twice during my marriage my husband gave me a puppy on Valentines Day….BEST GIFT EVER!!!!!!
