Happy October!!!!! but we are already starting to think about the Holiday season….We have a limited number of tickets for Harry Potter on Broadway for 2 dates in the new year, January 6th (for those families who have college students home on break) and February 10th.  This show is seen in two parts, Part 1, the Matinee at 2:00 and Part 2, at 7.  The cost per ticket is $525 for both parts for the January show and $450 for the February show.  What a perfect family Holiday gift.  This show is so popular and we are really lucky to get the group pricing.  The same tickets are selling on stub hub for sooo much more…Email me nicolesteinthal@Me.com to reserve your spot.  There will be a printed flyer sent to you explaining your gift of the show for you to put under the tree!!!!  Lastly, here is the summary of the show!!!

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children. While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a new play by Jack Thorne, received its world premiere in June 2016 at the Palace Theatre in London, where it plays to sold-out houses.

The critically acclaimed play has won 22 major theatre awards in the UK and is the most-awarded play in the history of Britain’s prestigious Olivier Awards, winning a record-breaking nine awards including Best New Play and Best Director.

Something Important To Me…..

Through this blog, I feel like I share pretty much everything about me and my life with my readers. But I was discussing something with some friends last week and thought…not a lot of people know this about me…and it’s time to share…..I love nuns.  They are my peeps..I have been pretty much been educated by nuns my entire life.  And, at least for me, a nun is the closest to what God here on earth might be like.  I have always been obsessed I mean REALLY obsessed with nuns.  For years, I have stopped dead in my tracks when I see a nun in full habit and literally gasp.  I am in awe of their faith and strong beliefs.  I have visited many many holy places and seem to be so lucky to come in contact with nuns from all over.  One day, I started taking photos of them.  Just for me, sometimes to send to friends…  Mostly to keep for inspiration or a reminder of my faith when I need it.  I love looking back at the photos.  Friends also send me photos…which I love too..I really wanted to share some of them with you.  Regardless of your religion I hope you just take a moment to indulge me.  Oh and if you do see a nun in a special place, please please please snap a photo and send it to me.

St Patrick’s Cathedral NYC
Sacre Coeur Paris

A friend took this in Italy.  I think she is cleaning…

Madison Square Garden!!!

I think this was outside Port Authority…..

This was sent to me…I think from the Sister’s of Charity newsletter!!! I wonder what they are singing…

Also sent to me..I wish I knew where this was….the cutest basketball game ever!!!!

And of course..one of my favorite nuns of all time!!!

Home Goods Re-cap

I ran into Home Goods yesterday (the Port Chester location) to do a quick re-cap.  My phone was about to die but I did zero in on a few things.  The store right now, I can best describe, as harvest heavy…a lot of fall leaves, arrangements, pumpkins, orange…you get my drift. But I think if we are patient the higher end 4th quarter merchandise assortment will be coming in within weeks.  That is when stores such as Home Goods save up their really great stuff because more people shop.  I will really try to stay on top of it and do more re-caps within the coming months!!  Happy Shopping!!!

These were only $4.  I think they were oven oven safe..they would be cute for serving fall soups!!!

This “love” painting is in the style of one of my favorite local artists!!!
Again the coffee table book selection was amazing and that slinky statue would be so perfect for my son’s college apt. but sadly I resisted!!!!

At one point, I had been looking for a pair these pillows forever..they have been sold out at all the high end home stores in this area….Please someone go get them…

These white pillows are perfect for a dorm or teens room. And I love the idea of getting the print to lean against a wall on a desktop!!!

Who can pass up Halloween candy containers!!???  Class moms the ghost is cute to bring filled with treats for in school halloween parties!!!

You really cannot see the detail on these pillows…They would enhance any room!!!
I love anything to do with Thanksgiving, since that is the holiday that I host in my home..I just wish there were more of these!!!!

How cute are these stuffed animals.  They were labeled dog chew toys but I would take the label off and any child would swoon for them..I thnk the pug is my fav!!!

I cannot pass up anything chinoiserie…I fell in love with these pillows.I just don’t think I have a place for them…Please please someone go back and give them a good home.  They are just too gorgeous to stay there…and another pair that you really cannot see the detail…BTW those cane back muslin covered chairs are not bad either!!!

Where was this when I was searching for a desk chair, the polished nickel legs are gorgeous!!!!

OK I had to show you this…..these collapsible laundry baskets were one of my son’s absolute favorite things he brought with him in college.  Such a smart space saving idea.!!!!

If I had a beach house or Florida house..this chair would be coming home with me…the color is sooo cool!!!!
