The peak fall foliage season is about to start. The most vibrant colors of leaves are from October 17th to October 24t, here in New York and Connecticut. Now is the time to get out and enjoy these magnificent fall weekends. We are so lucky to have the change of seasons in the North East. It is one of the many perks of living in this part of the country. I see that many of our readers have already been enjoying all that autumn has to offer. Happy Fall!!
This 20’s medieval style tutor on the Hudson in the Palisades section of NY just sold. Literally buffs, listen up, this was home to Orsen Wells and John Steinbeck in the 1940’s. And was later lived in by Lawrence Olivier and then Vivian Leigh. The “House in the Woods” became knows as a secret celebrity haven. This was the first time the house has been on the market in 40 + years!
Today’s fashionable friend Friday is uber stylish lifestyle blogger Elizabeth Moyer of Pretty Pink Tulips. On Tuesday, she hosted a luncheon for 150 guests to listen to Style Guru, Eddie Ross discuss and sign his new book Modern Mix. Like, everything Elizabeth does, the afternoon was wonderfully elegant and chic, not to mention how oh so informative Eddie was about the best flea market finds to setting the perfect holiday table. If you have not checked out Elizabeth’s blog, you must, it is brilliant. I am so lucky to be able to sit down with Elizabeth on Oct 30 on my radio show and discuss all things entertaining! Bon Weekend!
