Celebrities wear a lot of different things, to the point where they seem to be nonconforming to the fashion rules everyone else follows. Fortunately, it only takes a few must-have items in your closet to look like a celebrity. Dolce & Gabbana has compiled a list of exactly what you need to keep handy to have celeb-inspired outfits all the time.
Dolce & Gabbana Flowing Trousers
Your must-have list begins with flowing trousers. You can choose from plain neutrals or funky patterns and florals. Either way, these are perfect because they can be dressed up or down. You can wear the same pants to a wedding, the office, or a day out with friends.
Sandals
The stars know that shoes are where you make your most significant statement, and you need plenty of them in your closet. Neutral sandals are an excellent option for when you have some funky bottoms or a patterned dress. Many celebs have gone with more neutral sandals recently, especially amid the classic and retro crazes.
Strappy Heels
When you want a more neutral outfit, you need statement shoes. That’s when you break out the strappy heels. You can choose from glitter, fun patterns, or any other way to make a splash. You’ll often see celebs in these for formal occasions.
Boots
Heels are good with a floor- or calf-length dress, but what happens when you go knee-length or shorter? It would be best if you had statement boots. If you’re wearing neutral colors, try for a knee-high boot in fun patterns or with some sparkle. When you have prints on your outfit, either go safe and wear neutral boots or go bold and mix and match patterns.
Baggy Sweater
When it’s chilly out, or you’re going to be in the air conditioning all day, a baggy sweater should be your go-to top. Yes, these are a bit casual. However, you can use other items to make them more formal. While they aren’t what you might expect to be stylish, many celebrities have embraced them.
Blazer
Try a blazer if you need to go a little more formal on top. These jackets can be paired with almost any bottom, but they look especially good with our flowing trousers. It will almost give off the appearance of a pantsuit. They can come in virtually any color, and you can mix and match patterns depending on your style.
Cape
A cape is a great option when you want to stay warm but don’t want to cover your shoulders and outfit. These often come in lace or thin crochet so that you can see through them. However, they still fight off the chill. They work well with almost any outfit but look especially good with dresses.
Corset
A corset is a fun throwback item that is very stylish right now. You can wear a shirt underneath or not. These are the best option if you’re attending a party and want to look like you just stepped off the red carpet. There are even some that you can make look formal.

Everyone is welcome to celebrate the holiday on the pool patio, which is surrounded by five acres of manicured lawns and private gardens. There will be live music, croquet, and stunning red, white, and blue decor. The BBQ is complimentary for Inn guests, and the price for those stopping by for the BBQ is $40 per adult and $25 per child under the age of 12. Southampton Inn’s Claude’s Restaurant will be serving a buffet of signature burgers and grilled chicken, fresh salads, and delectable treats. Step Up To Turn Cancer Off is a new event where participants keep track of their physical activities in order to reach their daily “step” goal. An easy-to-use online tool will convert nearly any activity such as walking, running swimming, dancing, yoga, gardening etc. into steps. Entrants can register individually or as a team and then share progress with peers and family to garner donations. The week-long challenge runs from Monday, June 6th through Sunday, June 12th, 2022. The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation’s 13th Annual Unconditional Love Gala is returning to the Hamptons. The event will take place on Saturday, July 16, 2022, under the tents on Gin Lane in Southampton, NY. The annual event has been the most important fundraiser for the shelter for over a decade. The fun-filled gala will feature cocktails and a delicious, seated dinner, as well as dancing. In addition, a live and silent auction will help raise much-needed funds for the animals. This year’s Gala, chaired by Jean Shafiroff, will honor Mr. William Bratton, former New York City Police Commissioner and Mr. Jonathan McCann, founding President of SASF. Jean Shafiroff is hosting a private kickoff party for the gala at the Southampton History Museum on Friday, May 27, 2022.
Proceeds from this event directly support the more than 1,500 animals who enter the Shelter’s doors each year. The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is supported exclusively by donations and grants from the community. From caring and finding homes for stray and abandoned animals to providing low-cost veterinary care and dog training so that animals can remain in their homes, the shelter has become a vital resource in the community. Previous notable attendees include actor Stephen Baldwin, singer/songwriter Maxwell, and TV personality Greg Kelly.

64th Annual Summer Party

The Hamptons longest running fundraiser, the Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s Annual Summer Party, will continue in its ‘Gala in Your Garden’ format for one more year. Guests purchasing a table for ten guests will ‘host at home’, with everything they need for a wonderful dinner party delivered to their door. Elegant Affairs will provide a delicious three course meal, event sponsor Wölffer Estate Vineyards will be responsible for the wine selection and floral décor will accompany the delivery. Tables at different price points will include customized menus, waiters, chefs, handmade cocktails and more. All guests will be invited to ‘come together’ on Zoom for a virtual toast. All proceeds from the event will support the Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s Emergency Department and the new East Hampton Emergency Department, due to open in 2023.

The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF) will host Kids Cancel Cancer, their first ever kid-created and kid-focused fundraising event at The Club House in East Hampton, NY. It is estimated that 10,500 new cases of cancer will be diagnosed among children aged birth to 14 years each year, with approximately 1,190 children expected to die as a result of the disease. Moreover, despite a 65% decrease in childhood cancer deaths over the last few decades, cancer remains a leading cause of death for children. The Kids Cancel Cancer fundraiser will be a fun day of arcades, miniature golf, great food, raffle prizes, and more – all for a great cause – raising money to cure pediatric cancers through cutting-edge research.
