Today marks our first significant snow storm here in the New York area. Though I would much rather be writing about the newest sandals or sunglasses, this post is a MUST. Here are some wonderful boots to help you navigate the tundra outside your front door. I was shocked to hear that the LLBean “Bean” boot, showcased, below was the hottest seller for the Holiday season and had a looooonnnngg back order date (like a May delivery!!). That certainly brought me back to my high school/college days. I guess it is true what once was old is new again. Enjoy the snow!!!

This Wish List Wednesday item is a warm stylish hat. I love the fur pom pom ones that I have seen around. An all fur one is tempting too!
Yesterday, we took a trip to Momofuku Milk Bar. It is famous for amazing desserts. My girls had the “cereal milk”. It is a container of milk infused with toasted cereal. They loved it. We tried the “crack pie”, which was so good and all three of us LOVED the birthday cake truffles. If you are in New York City you must visit! You can also order online at www.milkbarstore.com.

I plan on spending some quality time this Martin Luther King weekend with my family and my puppies! We will catch up on some of the Oscar Nominees, try a few recipes we’ve been eyeing, indulge in a little online shopping but most off all just enjoy each other’s company.
