Sprucing Up Your Mantle
Last week a reader from Chicago emailed me that she wanted some tips to update her mantle. She was feeling it looked a little dated and needed some sprucing. I found the diagram below from Magnolia home outlining somethings you can add to your mantle for a updated look. First you start with an anchor (like a mirror or photo) and build around it with features such as height, symmetry and natural elements! See below for some of my favorite looks:
