Slow Cooker Hot Fudge Brownies

The college crowd is back this weekend….you know what that means….cooking around the clock.  I love to use my Slow Cooker for as many meals as I can.   I was on Pinterest and found this YUMMY recipe.  It looks like a real crowd pleaser.   Now all I need to do is add ice cream!!!  Bon Appetit!!!!

Adapted from wineandglue.com
  • 1 box fudge brownie mix
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 1 (12 ounce jar) hot fudge sauce

  1. Grease a large slow cooker very liberally with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, oil, 1/4 cup water, and eggs until combined. Pour into the prepared slow cooker.
  3. Whisk together the hot fudge sauce and hot water. (Feel free to use the same bowl you mixed the brownie mix in without cleaning it out). Pour over the brownie batter. Top with the lid and cook on HIGH for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
  4. The brownies will be gooey in the center at the end of cooking (though the edges should be fully set). Scoop out and serve with a spoon and top with ice cream.
