This week’s Weekend Real Estate Stalking choice is a house in my own neighborhood. This is such a great home and the owners have the most incredible talent. Both have careers in creative fields and this house totally reflects that. Also, it has a great view of Long Island sound in the distance. For more information please contact Barbie Haynes.
This week’s Fashion Friend Friday is Glenn Close. She is starring once again as Norma Desmond, in a limited Broadway engagement of Sunset Blvd. Last night I joined Show Score for their Member’s Night at Sunset Blvd. I can honestly say that this was one of the most amazing Broadway performances I have ever seen. Glenn Close’s Norma left me speechless. She was absolutely incredible. I could watch her again and again and again. For more information or to purchase discount tickets, click HERE.

With High School Graduations upon us and the rising seniors deep into college admission drama, I thought Where You Go Is Not Who You’ll Be: An Antidote to the College Admissions Mania by Frank Bruni would be the perfect Book Club Monday choice for this week. The important message of this book goes like this:
Over the last few decades, Americans have turned college admissions into a terrifying and occasionally devastating process, preceded by test prep, tutors, all sorts of stratagems, all kinds of rankings, and a conviction among too many young people that their futures will be determined and their worth established by which schools say yes and which say no.
That belief is wrong. It’s cruel. And in WHERE YOU GO IS NOT WHO YOU’LL BE, Frank Bruni explains why, giving students and their parents a new perspective on this brutal, deeply flawed competition and a path out of the anxiety that it provokes. – Amazon.com
