It all started last summer when Taylor Swift was photographed with a white swan float in her pool and everyone was running out to purchase one. This summer novelty floats are all the rage. The pink flamingo and the unicorn are this years white swan. I also think the gold swan is pretty pretty cute as well. Though, my daughter is dreaming about floating in the Long Island sound on the watermelon!!!!! Happy lounging!!!!
I have been hearing sooooo much about Ralph’s Famous Italian Ices that recently opened on the Post Rd in Mamaroneck, NY. Every time I have driven by, since the opening, there have been crazy lines so I knew we had to go and check out what all the hype was about!!!!!! Last night I grabbed my girls and their friends to check it out. OMG!!!! What a treat. Whether you have the water ice or the creme ice or the soft serve ice cream you will not know what hit you. We met the nicest server named Scott, he was definitely the man in chargel and he gave us a bunch of flavors to taste. From Root Beer, to Malibu Bay Breeze to Strawberry to Smores they all were delicious. Westchester and Fairfield Readers, RUN DON’T WALK to Ralph’s. Last week I took my nephews to see the Star Wars costume exhibit at the Discovery Museum in Times Square. On display were over 70 of the actual costumes used in the Star Wars movies, including the amazing C3PO, R2D2, Darth Vader, Yoda and sooo many more. I have to say that it totally rivals anything I have seen at the MET!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say, you HAVE to go. Anyone who has grown up seeing the movies, young and old, will be amazed by what is on display!!!! I must admit that it is one of the BEST exhibits I have ever seen!!!! May the Force Be With You!!!!!!
This week’s Fashionable Friend Friday is a Skin Genius!!! Julie Pipolo of Skin Westchester, a licensed Aesthetician with over 30 years of experience, is the bomb in skincare. I have been going to her religiously for the past 5+ years. I never miss or cancel. I have been known to keep my appointment despite being under the weather and asking Julie to put on a face mask to block the germs. That is how addicted I am!!!! Julie keeps up on the latest and greatest treatments. In fact, she offers most services BEFORE your own dermatologist.
