This week’s Fashionable Friend Friday is Pam and Pat of the Beloved Bath, a company they started with their autistic sons. The ladies found that the boys enjoyed making the bath mixtures with their moms. They found themselves calm, centered and happy after a soak. The weather here in the North East is so terrible. It is hailing, raining and thundering! I think I just saw lightening!!!!!! Yikes!!!! I thought it time for some real comfort food. I came across this recipe a few weeks ago and tried it. My family flipped over it…you have to try. The story goes that Frank was a incredibly accomplished cook. Last weekend we went to San Francisco. My daughter was on a school exchange there, so my sister and I decided to do a girl’s weekend, to fetch her, from her amazing host family. We had such a great time, though I think I wore everyone out with my list of things we HAD to do!!!!!!!! Here are some highlights from a great long weekend on the opposite coast!!!!
How beyond were the outfits of our doormen? I got the biggest kick out of them…I had to share!!!!
This was one of my favorite things we did…the original conveyor belt sushi restaurant, Isobune, in Japantown. The Sushi Chef makes the sushi and he places it on small trays in wooden boats that float and rotate in front of you for your choosing. INCREDIBLE!!!!!
