Let’s face it, at-home time can be boring at times. To help you out, this post will explore some of the best ways to keep yourself entertained. I was preparing this article for tips to pass the time while traveling, however, now I think it is so important to have some fun tips to pass the time while we are spending time at home.
Music
Music means something different to everyone, but most people are able to sit down and listen to their favorite tracks for hours on end to pass the time. Websites like https://setapp.com/how-to/how-to-download-music-for-free can make it nice and easy to save offline versions of the songs you like without breaking the law, and this will be essential when you’re in places that don’t offer an internet connection. It can be worth choosing music you haven’t listened to for a while for this, and some people will like to use the chance to listen to music they’ve never heard before. You can also live-stream concerts, what about listening to a Bruce Springsteen show?
Movies/TV
Back in the old days, the idea of being able to watch television and movies on a portable device would have been laughed at. Nowadays, though, your smartphone is more than capable of giving you the chance to consume your favorite TV shows no matter where you are. Services like YouTube can be used offline if you’re willing to pay for it, and there are loads of companies on the market that sell movies and television shows for temporary downloads onto your devices. It always makes sense to have these things available no matter the state of your internet connection. And, here’s what to watch when you’re caught up on “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,”
Video Games
Few things are better for passing time than video games, giving you the chance to ignore the fact that you are stuck at home. Smartphones can be good for this, with most models being able to run an array of different games. Alongside this, though, a portable console like the Nintendo Switch can also be an excellent option. For those with laptops, services like Google Stradia can make it possible to play games that would usually be reserved for very high-end game consoles or computers.
Or how about some of these FUN IDEAS (adapted from Apartment Therapy):
Take notes on how to organize your freezer from Ina Garten.
Enroll in weekly art lessons from the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)
Tour Tate Modern’s Andy Warhol exhibit.
Or just head right inside Prince Charles’ residence.
See the Japanese cherry blossoms around the world.
Take tips (and backgrounds) from Jonathan Adler for camera time, too.
Try these no-equipment workouts that you can easily do at home.
Volunteer remotely to make a difference from home.
What to do when you declutter!!!
I read that you need to display some kind of success to gain some kind of success. The truth is that it is always possible to engage with this in some way or another, and to show off your success as best as you can, and that is something that you are going to want to think about to some degree. In this article, we are going to look specifically at three sure signs of success that you can employ if you want to really show off your success – as long as you are focused on these, you will find that it really makes a huge difference to how you come across, and how confident you feel too.
Confident Style
Your general style is something that people will always look to in order to determine what kind of status you have, and for that reason if you put a lot of effort and thought into that you can really give the impression of success as best as possible, regardless of how much worldly success you may or may not currently have under your belt. Being confident in your style is more about believing in what you are wearing than it is about wearing something specific, so that is the most important thing to remember here. As long as you carry it off with style, you should find that you are going to really show signs of success that others are fully aware of ultimately.
Happiness
The truest success is happiness. If you are genuinely happy, then there is really nothing else you need to do to make it clear that you are successful, as that shows that you have done the most important thing and made sure that you are happy within yourself. Being genuinely happy in this way is something that you can always work on and which is available to everyone if they try for it, so bear in mind that it is something that is open to you as well, no matter who you are or where you are in life’s journey.
Dressing The Part
One of the clearest signs of success that people are always going to pick up on immediately is your appearance. As Coco Chanel once said, “Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman.” Pull out your best pieces and WEAR them. Do you have some valuable jewelry to show off? Maybe something handed down to you from your mother or grandmother? These pieces are something that you can easily wear, and you will find that special accessories and dress really help you to stand out. If you do treat yourself with a purchase, either a nice outfit or a special piece of jewelry, make sure that you can genuinely afford it, of course. You will find that this is one of the best things to do to highlight your success. And never forget….loose diamonds are always a good investment in any economic climate. Whatever sparkily accessory you choose to wear your success will definitely shine through.

I use to work on 5th Ave..and St. Patrick’s Day was such an event. I would forget and run out to lunch and find myself in the middle of the parade chaos. I will never forget all those years of bumping into people celebrating, decked out in green and singing and laughing merrily along the parade route. It surely was a sight to behold. Sadly, this year the festivities have been canceled for the sake of keeping everyone safe. What I would not give to be back today, at that parade, on the corner of 57th and 5th. There’s always next year, in the meanwhile, here are some highlights from year’s past!!!
