Are The Kids Home For Thanksgiving?
Many readers are in the same boat as my family. One or Two children in college, about to come home for Thanksgiving break. I received a few questions as to where to take the all the kids for dinner out over the next week. Here is a round up of some great places. A few I have been to and some I am dying to try!! THE RYE HOUSE, Port Chester, NY
A NYC Transplant that is a must for foodies!! This place rocks!! The food and drinks are not what you’d expect from a tavern. The decor is comfy and social. The menu is creative and the Duck Ruben is OMG!!!!!!!
Sign of the Whale, Stamford, Ct
I am told this is THE PLACE for Sunday Brunch because it has the best DIY Bloody Mary bar around!! Not to mention their Whale Burger was voted the best in Connecticut!!!

A huge cool bi-level space featuring country music, craft beer and a “real-deal” southern BBQ menu. People have told me that they are addicted to their amazing meaty ribs!

we don't celebrate Thank Giving in South Africa, but i have heard much about these traditions, it seems like such an amazing time to spend your time with family.
