This year more than ever we need to shop local. For us, this meant buying a bunch of our presents right in downtown Rye. I love walking by the shop windows and picking out gifts for everyone on my list. One of our frequent stops is Palmer and Purchase. All year-round, they have a great mix of fun clothes, pretty accessories, and the perfect mix of little gifts that are just right but even more so at Christmastime. During the quarantine, I would follow their INSTAGRAM, and Abbie, the owner, would fulfill the orders and drop them right at your door. I really wanted to give back to her for being there for all her customers during that really scary time!!! Palmer and Purchase was our go-to this Holiday season. I visited the store so many times, during the past few weeks. I watched what people were buying and also what they were putting on their wish lists.
