Home Goods Re-cap

I ran into Home Goods yesterday (the Port Chester location) to do a quick re-cap.  My phone was about to die but I did zero in on a few things.  The store right now, I can best describe, as harvest heavy…a lot of fall leaves, arrangements, pumpkins, orange…you get my drift. But I think if we are patient the higher end 4th quarter merchandise assortment will be coming in within weeks.  That is when stores such as Home Goods save up their really great stuff because more people shop.  I will really try to stay on top of it and do more re-caps within the coming months!!  Happy Shopping!!!

These were only $4.  I think they were oven oven safe..they would be cute for serving fall soups!!!

This “love” painting is in the style of one of my favorite local artists!!!
Again the coffee table book selection was amazing and that slinky statue would be so perfect for my son’s college apt. but sadly I resisted!!!!

At one point, I had been looking for a pair these pillows forever..they have been sold out at all the high end home stores in this area….Please someone go get them…

These white pillows are perfect for a dorm or teens room. And I love the idea of getting the print to lean against a wall on a desktop!!!

Who can pass up Halloween candy containers!!???  Class moms the ghost is cute to bring filled with treats for in school halloween parties!!!

You really cannot see the detail on these pillows…They would enhance any room!!!
I love anything to do with Thanksgiving, since that is the holiday that I host in my home..I just wish there were more of these!!!!

How cute are these stuffed animals.  They were labeled dog chew toys but I would take the label off and any child would swoon for them..I thnk the pug is my fav!!!

I cannot pass up anything chinoiserie…I fell in love with these pillows.I just don’t think I have a place for them…Please please someone go back and give them a good home.  They are just too gorgeous to stay there…and another pair that you really cannot see the detail…BTW those cane back muslin covered chairs are not bad either!!!

Where was this when I was searching for a desk chair, the polished nickel legs are gorgeous!!!!

OK I had to show you this…..these collapsible laundry baskets were one of my son’s absolute favorite things he brought with him in college.  Such a smart space saving idea.!!!!

If I had a beach house or Florida house..this chair would be coming home with me…the color is sooo cool!!!!

It won the Pulitzer Prize and quickly became a global phenomenon, with more than 50 million copies in print to date.
