You never know who you are going to meet!!! One lunchtime I was in a local salad place called chopt. There’s still plenty of time to enjoy summer BBQ’s and the meal would not be complete with corn on the cob. Here is a sweet and easy recipe which has been label “THE BEST”. Enjoy!!!
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
6 ears corn on the cob husks and silk removed
Fill a large pot 3/4 full of water and bring to a boil. Stir in sugar, and lemon juice, dissolving the sugar. Gently place the corn into the boiling water, cover the pot, turn off heat and let the corn cook in the pot until tender, about 10 minutes.
