I also LOVE this longer jacket with the fancy collar over a little black dress for all your special events!!! It’s so classic and this will be a staple in your closet for years to come!
Now that the guests have left, the tables are unset and the dishes are done, what should we do with all the leftovers? I have just the thing for you….why not make a delicious carbonara? Here is what to do……
2 cups of leftover turkey chopped
1 chops onion
5 pieces of thick cut bacon chopped
1 bag of frozen peas
2 cups leftover gravy
1 box of pasta your choice
16 oz shredded cheese
Cook pasta according to directions,
Sauté bacon and onions until brown.
Add turkey and gravy and mix until fully heated,
Stir in the package of cheese, and peas until cooked.
Toss with cooked pasta.
As much as I love shopping and browsing, I am not really a Black Friday shopper. I am going to spend the day with my family, reading, catching up on my DVR, and meeting my sweet friend Kris for coffee later this afternoon. When I have lazy days with time to surf the web, one of my favorite channels is You Tube. There are so many instructional videos from cooking, to organizing to decorating, to fashion and so much more. I absolutely love it. Here are some of my favorites right now and I thought if you too had some time away from shopping you might enjoy them!!! Bon Weekend!!!
I am sure many of you are starting to get your Christmas cards in order. I have had my cards for a while now and I am going to start the process early in December. It is a lot of work but so rewarding. I love looking back at all the cards from past years, both the ones I have sent and the ones I have received. I cannot wait to start getting all the Holiday mail and seeing all of the beautiful cards everyone chose this year. Here are a few ideas that really caught my eye!!!!
