Styling Vision: What was your creative approach to styling executives for Billboard Latin Music Week, and how did you ensure their looks aligned with the event’s energy?
I find inspiration in reflecting on the essence of the week and the impact Billboard Latin Music Week has—not just on the music industry but also on aspiring artists, producers, and executives who attend to learn, absorb valuable insights, and network with peers and seasoned industry professionals. For me, it’s all about fostering creativity and supporting the community.
Client Dynamics: How do you balance showcasing each executive’s personal style while keeping their look professional and on-brand for the music industry?
The music industry is highly creative, so my main focus is understanding my client’s values, preferences, and what truly inspires them. It’s all about finding the right balance between fun and professionalism.
Influence of Miami: Did the vibrant culture of Miami Beach influence your styling choices? If so, how did you reflect it in the outfits?
Yes, of course. Miami is fun, vibrant, colorful, and mostly warm, so all of these elements play a role when choosing outfits.
Trends and Highlights: Were there any particular fashion trends or standout looks that emerged during this year’s event?
There aren’t any dominant trends since so many genres of music are featured, and the audience reflects that diversity. It’s a space that fosters creativity and individuality, not just for artists but for everyone involved.
Future Goals: How does working on events like Billboard Latin Music Week shape the future direction of Mode T? Are there other similar events you’re aiming to collaborate with?
This has been an incredible experience, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity—I’ve been having the time of my life. I would love to continue working not only in the music world but also to explore opportunities in the entertainment industry as a whole. My next big project, besides continuing to work with my private clients in New York, whom I enjoy and love so much, is helping plan my second Fashion Week show in February!
