See Bernadette Peters on Broadway in Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends

This spring in Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends, two Broadway icons, Tony Award winners Bernadette Peters and Lea Salonga, headline an extraordinary event dedicated to the legendary composer. Following its hit run in London, this musical celebration now comes to Manhattan Theatre Club’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on Broadway this season.

Curtain up, light the lights, and experience Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends on Broadway. Stephen Sondheim is the famed and multi-Tony Award-winning composer and/or lyricists of hit shows including Into the Woods, Gypsy, West Side Story, Assassins, A Little Night Music, and Sunday in the Park with George, for which he earned a Pulitzer Prize. Recently memorialized on stage with starry revivals of Sweeney Todd and Merrily We Roll Along, songs from the musical theatre giant now return to Broadway in this one-of-a-kind event.

Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends comes across the pond from London, where it earned a bevy of five-star raves and was hailed by The Times as “unmissable musical theatre.” Cameron Mackintosh, the acclaimed producer of Les Misérables, devised this production.
